Auriga, the global software provider for omnichannel banking and the payments industry, today announced a new agreement with 5B, the largest ATM network in Central America, to modernise the network’s fleet of over 2,500 ATM’s.

This new contract builds on how Auriga already provides comprehensive cybersecurity management for 5B with its Lookwise Device Manager (LDM) solution and will help optimise services and provide an even better self-service experience for customers who rely on 5B ATMs across Guatemala. Over a quarter of these devices are located in bank branches, while the remainder are in shopping centres, petrol stations and pharmacies, amongst other businesses.

Leonte Pallais, General Manager of 5B said; “We are confident that with help from Auriga we will positively impact our customer experience and offer greater operational efficiency, cost reduction and, consequently, overall business growth. At 5B we work hard to positively impact communities, companies and families”

The project will see the implementation of Auriga’s WinWebServer (WWS) ATM solution, which provides everything needed to manage an ATM network of this size, including terminal management, transaction reconciliation, and remote key management.

In addition, 5B will be utilising two specialist WWS modules: WWS Proactive Monitoring OMNIA to assure the highest network availability for 5B’s self-service devices; and WWS One to One OMNIA, for planning and editing marketing and customer relations campaigns across 5B’s ATMs.

Auriga’s WWS platform solutions can drive the execution of multi-function banking services across all channels including mobile devices, kiosks and ATMs to increase the profitability of customer relationships.

“We are excited to partner with 5B on this project. With the implementation of our solutions, we aim to advance processes, reduce costs, and offer an exceptional self-service experience for network users. This collaboration demonstrates our joint commitment to innovation and excellence in the region's banking sector," commented Vincenzo Fiore, CEO of Auriga.
